Today is World Laboratory Animal Day, for some a time to pause and reflect, for others a time to take action. We have the great privilege of working with animals who are ready to leave research and embark on a different kind of life.

Their courage and compassion continue to astound and inspire us every day.

So today we give thanks and re-affirm our commitment to expand the rehoming movement here in Australia, knowing that the ripple effects reach far and wide.

Thank you so much to those of you who have already donated to our Annual Fundraising Appeal, which has raised nearly $3000 towards our $15,000 goal!

If you think it’s important that someone is doing this work, please consider supporting our fundraiser, which is open until midnight on 26 April 2022.

As our way of saying thank you, we have put together a fabulous compilation video. We do love making videos but these are our favourite kind because we get to show you, in one place, all the different types of animals that we rehome from research.

They’re different by species but also in personality! These guys are all unique and very, very special! Meet them here.

If you’d like to volunteer your services, just visit our volunteer page and complete any of our expression of interest forms.
