Working with us as a volunteer is a tangible way to support animals from research. By helping us provide a soft landing for these animals when they come out of a facility, you are having a real impact.
You are also supporting us as a not-for-profit to deliver on our rehoming mission.
Volunteers work with us at the Liberty Adoption Centre, located at Wyong on the Central Coast of NSW. This centre has large indoor enclosures and free-run areas where volunteers can interact with the animals, get to know them better and help develop their social skills.
People can also volunteer to assist with building work, enclosure maintenance, cleaning, shopping, food preparation, craft making and transport. You can also volunteer to foster animals in your home if you live in New South Wales.

How to become a volunteer
To become a volunteer, you must:

Volunteers with children aged under 16 years can have them accompany while carrying out volunteer activities but they must be supervised at all times and cannot participate in animal handling.
