Liberty Foundation Australia Limited is a not-for-profit organisation, currently operating in New South Wales, which plans to expand into other states and territories. Its mission is to facilitate the release, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals from research establishments in Australia in order that they may live out the course of their natural lives free from research, scientific experimentation and farming.

The Liberty Foundation is also the main proponent of the Liberty Project which aims to establish an industry-led and industry-funded initiative to establish rehoming and rehabilitation centres for animals from research establishments.
